Invite to the QCA Bachelor of Photography Graduate Exhibition: DEPARTURE



Photography graduates from Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art (QCA) are proving they have what it takes to be considered among Australia’s best photographers. Bachelor of Photography students from the current graduating class are setting new standards in emerging photography, showing not only Australia but the rest of the world just how talented they are. As current third year students close the final chapter of their studies at QCA many already have their sights set on promising careers in the Australian and the International photographic scene. The work of this year’s graduating class can be viewed at their annual exhibition, ‘Departure’will be officially opened at 6pm November 17th at the QCA campus at South Bank and is open to the general public. QCA has an outstanding reputation for producing not only highly skilled photographers but also highly creative, with some of the most reputable lectures Australia has to offer, such as Marian Drew, Ray Cook, Angela Blakely and David Lloyd.  2011 has seen past graduates Renata Buziak launch her book ‘After Image’, Eric Bridgeman, amongst various group exhibitions, also held two solo shows in Victoria and Kate Bernauer having  just been awarded the Clayton Utz Launch Art Award .
